Mayor Adanech Abebe told Addis Ababa council members about the city’s development corridor:

– Making land and compensation payments on behalf of commercial houses and private owners, preparing transportation to transport the developers to their designated residences and workplaces, giving them a special welcome in the area they entered, mostly maintaining their social ties, and relocation operations were carried out with great care and sense of responsibility.

– By preparing a clear and detailed implementation plan, design preparation, budget and construction of houses, workplaces and replacement land for developers have been done.

– To organize the information of development initiatives arising from their residences and workplaces, to discuss the initiatives, to deal with them in an efficient manner according to their preferences, and to resolve the complaints encountered, a procedure and organization has been developed and put into action.

– Development developers have been closely monitored to ensure that the infrastructure of roads, electricity, water and drainage are complete, so that developers can respond quickly to their questions.

– The senior management of the city has visited all the sites frequently to check the condition of the residential areas and the conditions of the development projects and to check the fulfillment of the services and if there are any deficiencies.
